River Stone Construction Wins Best Overall Home at 2026 HBAGC Parade of Homes
We’re thrilled to announce that River Stone Construction has won Best Overall Home at the 2026 HBAGC Parade of Homes! We love participating in the Parade every year and we’re beyond honored to win this award.
Our Faith View model home was chosen as the Best Overall Home out of the 26 beautiful new homes featured in the event. The Parade had a great turnout this year, with a steady stream of visitors coming by for a tour.
The winning home is our Carolina B design at 9008 Gentle Breeze Way, Ooltewah, TN 37363. It has great curb appeal with a graceful sweeping gable over the arched front entry. Warm white painted brick gives a fresh update to this classic style.
Inside, the home has a modern open floor plan. Light colors and natural wood tones throughout the home tie it all together. The living room exudes a relaxed but upscale vibe with wood floors, beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace with natural wood mantel.
We’ve kept the same feeling in the well-appointed gourmet kitchen. A white farmhouse sink adds a touch of tradition in the large island. The adjacent dining room treats you to sweeping mountain views through triple windows.
This two-story home has the primary suite on the first floor. Our tour visitors loved this space! What stood out to them was the details: the tray ceiling in the bedroom, the high-end feel of the bathroom and the spacious closet with built-in storage and dresser.
Three more bedrooms are on the second floor, including a junior suite that would work well for an older child or guests. The Carolina B also has a bonus room with a large storage closet for games and toys.
One of our favorite elements of this home is the private covered back porch. With its sheltered feel and stone fireplace, it truly feels like another room. We’re sure this would be one of your favorite places to hang out whether you’re relaxing after work or hosting friends for the evening.
