Enchanted Festival of Lights
Nov. 14-Jan. 4
Stroll through a “garden of lights” at Rock City, where you’ll see a Nativity scene, Toyland, Fairyland Caverns, Christmas Tree Lane and Santa’s workshop. Kids can visit Santa in his living room and decorate cookies.
Nooga Lights Choo Choo
Nov. 15-Dec. 31
Ready for something a little different? Head over to the Chattanooga Choo Choo for a brand new Nooga Lights nontraditional music and light show.
Asian Lantern Festival “Forest of Fantasy”
Nov. 21-Jan. 17
The Chattanooga Zoo will be lit up with almost 50 lantern vignettes featuring huge mythical creatures, cute snowmen and more. Some lanterns move, blow bubbles, change color or play music. Special presentations will be offered on select nights, including a Lion Dance, lantern making craft, visits with Santa and photo ops with Elsa and Anna from “Frozen.”
Reindeer on the Riverfront & Lighted Boat Parade
Nov. 28 4-8 p.m.
This special event at Ross’s Landing includes a lighted boat parade, live reindeer and a fireworks show. Grab some food, shop at artisan booths and enjoy live entertainment.
Holiday Christmas Lights Train
Dec. 26- Jan. 11
Head over to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum to board a relaxing hour-long train ride through a series of light displays. Listen to holiday music and stories while basking in the charm of a vintage train.
