Your Path to a New Home
At River Stone Construction, we’ve developed a solid system to provide our home buyers with a smooth-flowing process from start to finish. We will keep you informed on the progress of your new home construction with an easy-to-follow along online production schedule unlike national competitors.
First, we meet you at your lot to evaluate its potential as a building site. If everything looks good, we’ll help you select a suitable plan from our portfolio. Next you’ll personalize the design with paint colors, lighting fixtures, hardware and more from our coordinated finish series. We’ll finalize the plans and specifications for your new home while you obtain financing.
Once financing is in place, we can provide the fixed price and final home plan, including specs and allowances. We use a fixed price model so you know upfront exactly how much it will cost to build your home.
With everything in place, you’ll sign the purchase agreement. Excitement builds as we meet with you at the River Stone Construction showroom for exterior and interior design meetings.
Now construction begins! We start from the ground up with the foundation and crawl space prep, followed by the framing, roofing, windows and doors. At this point we invite you for a walk-through of your home in progress.
Next, utilities are roughed in. We invite you back to the house to see the rough-ins before they’re covered with drywall. This helps familiarize you with your home’s mechanical systems.
The interior takes shape as the insulation, drywall, interior doors, trim, cabinets and paint are completed. We meet with you to plan the landscaping. Meanwhile, the utility trim-outs are finished, the flooring is installed and hardware is added throughout the home.
When construction is finished, we thoroughly clean your home. You’ll step through the door of your completed home for the first time at your orientation walk-through. If any items need to be addressed, we take care of them ASAP. Then we walk through the home with you again to confirm that everything has been completed properly.
The big moment has arrived! We meet for the closing, where the home becomes yours! We’ll check back with you afterward to make sure everything is going well with your new home. Our goal is a satisfied customer 100% of the time.
