Construction Superintendent

Reports to: Construction Manager, Owner

Job Description: The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of construction projects. This includes coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all trade and field personnel. The Superintendent is also responsible for the safety of all workers on the job site and for ensuring that all applicable building codes and regulation are met. The Superintendent will work closely with subcontractors and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities including subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and daily site operation.
• Maintains project schedule and timelines, identifying problems in advance and making quick and effective decisions to keep the project on track.
• Ensures that all work in completed to the highest quality standards.
• Thoroughly understands the project plans and specifications.
• Inspects completed work and ensures that it meets all applicable building codes and regulation.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, supplies, and other team members.
• Maintains safe and clean job sites.

Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive a truck and trailer or small box truck.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Superintendent Assistant

Reports to: Superintendent, Owner

Job Description: The Superintendent Assistant is responsible for assisting contractors, cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing lot and development signage
• Sweeping out homes
• Cleaning exterior of homes
• Moving and dumping dump trailer
• Pick up and deliver materials
• Receive all cabinet deliveries
• Deliver all cabinets
• Keep floors protected
• Assist all superintendents
• All other duties as assigned

Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive a truck and trailer or small box truck.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Heavy Equipment Operator

Reports to: Construction Manager, Owner

Job Description: Must have experience operating heavy equipment, preferably earth moving equipment. Will work closely with the superintendent to ensure the site is ready for construction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blue prints
• Operate Mini X, Skid Steer, and Bull Dozer
• Dig footings and form footing
• Grade Slabs
• Install footer drains
• Install water and electrical lines
• Install sewer lines
• Install grinder pumps
• Fine Grade Yards
• Install septic systems
• All other duties as assigned

Must have a valid drivers license, CDL is a plus, and be able to pull equipment trailer.

Must be able to pass a drug test.

Heavy Equipment Operator Assistant

Reports to: Heavy Equipment Operator, Owner

Job Description: Must have experience operating equipment, preferably earth moving equipment. Will work with the Heavy Equipment Operator and will assist superintendents as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing rebar in footing
• Shooting grade for operator
• Sweeping out homes
• Hand digging trenches
• Equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Assist all superintendents
• Pick up and deliver materials
• Install conduit in ditches
• All other duties as assigned

Must have a valid drivers license and pass a drug test.
